Pushups for the Cause: Help Fight Veterans Suicide

According to Department of Veterans Affairs statistics, rates of suicide among U.S. veterans far exceeds that of the general public. Based on a review of Department of Defense records, State records and data from the Center for Disease Control, the U.S. is losing veterans to suicide at a rate of nearly one every hour, every day. Even one of them is too many. Help AMVETS raise awareness and try to solve the problem by identifying and providing services and support to veterans in need today. Challenge a friend, co-worker, or family member to do at least 20 pushups for veterans suicide prevention, donate $20 to support the cause, or both.
